So, I realized today that it’s been nearly three months since my last post. Bad blogger, bad! Of course, the reason it’s been so long is that so much has happened:
- We hosted Thanksgiving for both sets of parents, plus our good friends the Pinnixes.
- We bought a second car. For those keeping count, that’s two cars dying plus two “new” cars (new to us, at least) in the course of a year. Not recommended, but it definitely gave us a boot camp approach to finances.
- Andrea started a new job, teaching 7th graders the finer points of grammar and writing.
- All of the normal busy-ness: small groups, Christmas worship at Grace, weddings. As Yul Brenner says, “Et-ceterrrrrra, et-ceterrrrrrrrrra, et-ceterrrrrrrrrrrra!”
So, that’s the last three months in a nutshell. Hopefully I’ll be back on here more often in the coming year.
