This is from a live recording at Grace Community Church, Nashville, Tennessee, during the 2009 Christmas services. The service was recorded live to a stereo ProTools session from a dedicated stereo buss on the FOH board. I both mixed the service and mastered the stereo recording. Instrumentation included a 40+ voice choir, acoustic and electric guitars, acoustic piano, keyboards, strings, electric bass, percussion, and drums. Music arrangement and lead vocal is by Jeff Bourque.

An intern shot this video as part of a larger project. She turned in raw assets and a rough edit, and I completed and polished the edit, including matching hand motions to voice (recorded separately), pacing, color correction, and audio processing. This site was built prior to Catalyst East 2011, and was part of a campaign to connect with professionals in their 20s to 40s. WillYouCare.org centers around “10 days of sacrifice,” an experiential Bible Study. We needed a quick and easy development that could be updated in the future.

I managed the project, building the site skeleton in WordPress, then coordinating with a graphic designer to craft the look and feel.

This site is used for missions and cultural education for children in the U.S. It was important to have a system that would be easy for artists and writers to update, and for easy story package delivery to church volunteers.

I managed the project, including a strategy to leverage the WordPress blog engine as a content management system for the site. We built a custom theme with a few custom functions. We also modified the built-in custom background system to allow site managers to upload seasonal backgrounds, while keeping a custom default background available.
