A Whirlwind Weekend

Sorry that it’s taken me so long to post. The flights over were pretty smooth - the only hitch was in the flight to Frankfurt: I’ve been gate-checking my recording rack, and it got tossed into general luggage at the gate at Dulles, so in Frankfurt I had to go through customs, get my rack, then come back through customs and gate-check it again. At the security station, after going through the scans I was told that my rack needed a “special examination”. Yeah, step aside to the little room with the guy in a lab coat. Had to take everything out, and they swabbed it all. No problems, and on I went.
